WE HAVE WATER AGAIN!
96 hours without water. 💧🐴 For the past 96 hours, our stables have been without a water supply. Looking after 13 horses in these circumstances has been incredibly challenging, but we’ve been overwhelmed by the support we’ve received. A huge thank you to our amazing staff and volunteers, who have worked tirelessly to make sure every horse has been cared for. We also want to thank the local farmers who have stepped in to help with water and support when we needed it most. You

⚠️No water at the yard⚠️
Every animal owners' nightmare… We have had no water at the stables since Sunday as there is a major leak further down the line. Unfortunately we still do not know how long it will be until we are back up and running... we are busy carting water for the ponies! It’s very hard work in the heat with the ponies water intake being higher than average too due to the hot weather. What this does mean is there is also no water for hand washing, flushing toilets or... COFFEE!! Whils

🐴Balance Pad Challenge 🐴
The ponies have been trying something a little different — standing on balance pads! This activity is a great mental and physical challenge for the horses, helping to improve their postural stability, body awareness, and proprioception (knowing where their body and feet are). It’s also a lower-energy way to keep their brains engaged, which is especially useful during the warmer weather. Each pony had their own reaction to the challenge. Fee found it tricky at first and was

Thank you Resurrection Furniture Alton
Saturday 4th July was a day to celebrate as the final section of failing wooden post and rail fencing separating the paddocks was replaced with new posts and modern electric rope. This was all made possible by the ongoing support of Resurrection Furniture Alton and their generous donation paid for all the materials. Also, the team of volunteers who provided the know how and labour. A special shout out to Adam Bell of “Bells Fencing Services Ltd” in Alton, who donated his time
