Broadlands 2019

Amazing Fundraising Talks and Events

Raising more funds to help the Broadlands Group RDA is so important. It helps us cover the costs of the day to day of running of the riding school, stables and looking after our lovely ponies. It also supports our vital redevelopment projects all aimed at providing more services to assist the riders who need it.  That's why we will be staging many more entertaining and inspiring events in 2020.

If you have any ideas which you think

could help please let us know.

At each event please enjoy a glass of wine and some delicious snacks too!

 RACHEL FORBES

Army veteran, former helicopter pilot and mum of 3 young boys with a full-time job.

Despite not having any extreme endurance racing experience, Rachel having stumbled across this race on social media, threw herself into the challenge of taking 10 days away from her normal work and family life to run 100 miles across a frozen lake in Mongolia.

OH... WHAT A SHAME THIS TALK HAS HAD TO BE POSTPONED... AS SOON AS WE HAVE A NEW

DATE WE'LL LET YOU ALL KNOW!

She realised that it is not selfish to carve out space to pursue a goal.

It is challenging and there is guilt, but Rachel believes that #FindingTime for yourself is always within reach no matter how many obstacles you face.

Doors open at 6.30pm - Talk Starts at 7pm at

Wivelrod Barns, Wivelrod Road, GU34 4AS
