Today we held a special Afternoon Tea in memory of Gerry Walker, Broadlands’ own physiotherapist.

Gerry devoted her life to horses and to helping others. She truly understood the incredible difference horses can make in people’s lives, and she worked tirelessly to make those opportunities possible.

It was wonderful to welcome so many familiar faces from Broadlands’ past, including former volunteers, regional supporters, and past riders. Together, we shared memories, caught up with old friends, met our wonderful ponies, and reflected on how the charity continues to grow from strength to strength.

We know Gerry would be so proud to see Broadlands continuing to grow from strength to strength, changing lives through the unique bond between people and horses.

As always there was plenty of yummy cake to share around.
