What a magical "Tea with a Pony" we enjoyed with the lovely ladies from Marnel Lodge Care Home - Barchester Healthcare yesterday! Everyone adored meeting all of our gentle ponies and hearing what they get up to during the week. Afternoon tea in the cool breeze under the trees was a highlight on a hot day. If your group/club (max of 10 people) would like to join us for a "Tea with a Pony" we have a few spaces left! Contact emmam@broadlandsgrouprda.org.uk for more information.

Cancellations
Hi everyone! Just a little reminder that if you need to cancel a session, please let the office know as soon as possible. Giving us plenty of notice helps us offer your space to someone on our waiting list and keeps everything running smoothly. Please remember that late cancellations may incur a cancellation charge, so if you know you can’t make your session, we’d really appreciate hearing from you as early as you can. Teddy enjoyed a second trip out in the lorry this week with his owners. This time with his old friend Zebedee to give some riders from Ebony Horse Club in Brixton, London, an opportunity to experience an amazing day out of London and a hack in the countryside. The riders really enjoyed the hacks with some having never been out of the city before. The riders had lots of questions including how is straw made, how big is Teds field, how big can he jump, to questions about how h

Evening dressage
A lovely evening out for Toby and Teddy, who headed to a local riding club dressage competition tonight! Both boys behaved impeccably, earned some lovely rosettes, and received really positive, constructive feedback from the judges. We love keeping our ponies’ workloads varied. Alongside their incredible work in our RDA sessions, opportunities like this help keep them engaged, fit, and enjoying new experiences. We couldn’t be more proud of these two superstars!

Grass
🌱 Thanks to careful grazing management, we still have standing fibre in our fields to help feed the horses during this mega drought. While much of what they’re grazing now has little to no nutritional value, we’re still able to provide valuable forage whilst the horses are in the fields. Best of all, it means we’re not having to dip into our hay supplies or spend money on extra hay just yet. Planning ahead and looking after the land makes all the difference. 🌾🐴
