Stable Hand / Yard Assistant wanted – Immediate Start

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and hardworking individual to join our small team in a sole-charge role, caring for 10 much-loved horses on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes genuine pride in providing excellent care.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Daily turnout and bringing horses back in

• Mucking out stables

• General yard duties to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both horses and people

As this is a lone-working position, the successful applicant must be confident, capable, and experienced in handling horses independently.

What We’re Looking For:

• Aged 18+ (preferred)

• Able to drive due to our rural location

• Physically fit and comfortable working outside in all weather conditions

• Reliable, punctual, and compassionate with a strong sense of responsibility

This role would suit someone practical, trustworthy, and genuinely passionate about horse welfare, who enjoys working independently and being part of a calm, caring environment.
