Riding School Welfare Licence

Over the past few months, the team has been working incredibly hard behind the scenes on something really important — securing our Riding School Welfare Licence.
This is a legal requirement, set by the local council, and is all about ensuring we continue to meet high standards of animal welfare (something that's always been at the heart of what we do).
There has been a bit of “grey area”" in the past around whether this licence applied to Broadlands, but that's now been fully clarified. We're delighted to say that, following a veterinary inspection and the submission of all the necessary documentation, we've been awarded a four-star rating (with a five-star rating not being achievable in the first year).

We're really proud of the team for all the effort that's gone into this and for the recognition of the care we provide.
Just to reassure everyone, Broadlands is not becoming a riding school. We'll be continuing to offer the same services we do now, exactly as before, just with this extra stamp of approval in place.
