If you are at all interested in joining our wonderful team of volunteers please get in touch and we can arrange for you to come and visit. It'll be your chance to meet both the ponies, some helpers and a take a guided tour

of the facilities. We'll also give you the opportunity to work with one of our qualified instructors, plus rider and pony, just to see if you like it.

 

The continued success of Broadlands, Medstead is reliant on the volunteers who come regularly and reliably to work with our riders. For some riders we need two helpers and a leader for each pony so in a typical lesson there can be 18 helpers, a physio' and an instructor, all giving their time for free but being rewarded with smiles and a shared achievement.

 

Currently we are looking for helpers on a Monday, Thursday and Saturday who can commit to coming along regularly to help. If you are not sure about working with ponies or riders with learning or physical difficulties please come along and talk to some of the team and see what we get up to.

Please note to work with the pony you will need the usual horse style clothing - stout footwear, and a coat that doesn’t flap.
