The Redevelopment of Broadlands
As everyone knows Suzanne has been running Broadlands RDA for 43 of the 63 years since it’s inception.
To safeguard its future Suzanne has generously granted Broadlands RDA
(which is now a CIO, ’Charitable Incorporated Organisation’)
a 25year renewable lease at a very low and advantageous rent.
This generous act allows us to modernise the riding school by removing and replacing the asbestos roofing, adding a Viewing Gallery and building a dedicated Learning Centre which will also act as a Club House. We are also planning on adding two nice ‘Flatlets’ on the first floor for our apprentices/yard assistants.
As you will see in our 'Newsletter' we need to raise a significant amount of money to be able to complete our plans; the outcome will re-enforce our position as a major RDA centre in the south of England and enable us to create and provide more up-to-date facilities to help far more disadvantaged people in the future.
Below are our architectural perspectives of how it will look in the future.
