In preparation for the Open Day we invited Sony to organise a team through the Sony Engage project to paint the stables and main wall of the indoor school.
A great team of seven turned up, 5 of whom have been before and chose to come again, once they found their way. With their Health & Safety officer along too they all came dressed appropriately, a boiler suit was excellent and pink tie dyed even better, but green wellies!! The risk assessment was soon completed along with the safety briefing. They had bought all of the materials; brushes, pots and the paint, fortunately as the supplier they had to organise the COSHH paperwork.
The atmosphere was wonderful and the painting was soon underway and the ponies thoroughly enjoyed the company. We are extremely grateful for the support we receive from Sony as it spreads the load and gets the chores done. They have made a fabulous job of the painting and clearing up afterwards, the pictures show the fun they had and whilst most of the paint went on the walls their Sony Engage T Shirts were put to artistic use too.
To reward their hard work they each received a special Broadlands Rosette and an invite to the Open Day.
Once again a big thank you to Sony UK.
