Results

The weather was beautiful and the course looked stunning under a clear blue sky.  The course played magnificently and our thanks go to the club and staff for their hard work and support.

With a second breakfast of Blackmoor bacon butties, tea and coffee everyone had a chance to check the rules and their card and teed off on time.

An informative Broadlands presentation ran throughout the day giving a brief view of the work and some achievements at Broadlands.

With all the teams back in the clubhouse and refreshed we sat to a sumptuous lunch of rack of lamb on sweet potato in a blueberry jus followed by apple and blackberry crumble.  During the meal the raffle was called with some excellent choices along with the nearest the pin and best team name prizes.

The superb Silent Auction items from our supporters, Sony UK, Wisley Foundation, Hayling Island Golf Club,  North Hants Golf Club and Stoneham Golf Club helped to increase the total sum raised on the day.

Following a successful day for the players and Broadlands the Golf Day team are planning our third Golf Day at Blackmoor in 2011.  The entry will again be limited to 14 teams.  We will open the entry list once the date is confirmed, there will be details in the news and events section as soon as we have the date.
