Th

Riding is a fabulous therapy.

Disabled riders on horseback become equal, trying to motivate and control an animal with its own attitude and approach to life.

The benefits for the riders are both mental and physical.  From the walking gait of a horse matching that of a human - giving a rider the ability to walk whilst sitting down, significant if you spend all of your day in a wheelchair, to the understanding and patience the horses have of their riders difficulties.

“Riding is my favourite hobby. It allows me to do so much more than I can do under my own steam”

“It gives me much more independence, than I get in my wheelchair”

“I’ve been in a wood”

“I never thought my child would get a certificate for anything”

“He went to bed clutching his rosette and fell asleep with a smile

on his face”

“When I am up here I feel like you.”
