You will see children with a wide spectrum of both learning and physical disabilities. The horse enables children who spend most of their time in a wheelchair to gain a level of independence, as the horse gait is the same as ours they gain the sensation of walking through their seat right through their body. Learning to be calm and talk to the horse to get it to do things for them can be a big step for children with Autism, but their faces show the enjoyment and fun they have.
